Classes and social dance resume in September 2022

Classes will resume on Monday 5th September 2022. The first block of classes will run from 5th September to 10th October with new beginners encouraged to start on 5th or 12th September. Block booking discount of £45 for 6 classes (£30 for students/unwaged), contact us to pay by bank transfer or pay by cash and card on the door.

New short block of classes for July 2022

A new short block of classes starts on Monday 4th July with new moves for those who have been doing classes as well as a warm welcome for new beginners! There will be three evenings of classes on 4th, 11th and 18th July and then a lovely afternoon of social dancing at Balboa Beckons in Old Headington on 24th July before we take a break for the summer. Classes will then resume on 5 September.

Next Balboa Beckons social dance on 19th June 2022!

Our next Balboa Beckons social dance will take place on Sunday 19th June 2022, 2-6pm in the beautiful Old Headington Village Hall, Dunstan Road, Headington, Oxford, OX3 9BY.

Come and join us for an afternoon of Balboa dancing and fantastic music with our DJs. Tickets cost £10 for the afternoon, book via DanceCloud or pay by card or cash on the door.

Lateral Flow Tests May Survey Results

Thank you to all of you who filled in our survey on whether we should continue to require lateral flow tests. The vast majority thought we should no longer require these so we will no longer ask to see them. While it will no longer be a requirement, we recommend you continue testing to keep others safe. It is your decision whether to wear a mask in class and whether to join in rotation of partners. Please do not come if you feel unwell or live with someone who has Covid. We will refund in full if you have to cancel.
