We are so excited about Mickey Fortanasce coming to teach a balboa workshop before Balboa Beckons on Sunday 27th April: don’t miss it!

When?

Sunday 27th April 2025

11.45: Doors open
12.00-14.15: Workshop for improvers upwards with Mickey Fortanasce (with short water break in the middle)
14.15-18.00: Balboa Beckons social dance, with music from our lovely DJs

If you are coming by car, you need to know that Thames Water are carrying out works on Osler Road and St Andrews Road. Access to the hall by car will only be available via Dunstan Road (leading from the Northway estate): although there is a “Road Closure” sign you can still access the Hall this way. You should not park within the traffic management system. There are some parking spaces at the hall (but please do not block the hut at the back as this belongs to the guides), and plenty more free parking less than half a mile away down the road: on Dunstan Road itself, or Foxwell Drive, Halliday Hill or Saxon Way.

How much?

Workshop + Balboa Beckons: £35 on DanceCloud
Workshop only: £30 on DanceCloud
Balboa Beckons only: £10 (£7 unwaged) pay on the door or on DanceCloud
